Green School

History of our school as a Green School

Green Schools is a really cool programme that enables kids to be more environmentally friendly. Scoil Chaomhín  Naofa has been a proud member of Green Schools for over 9 years.

We were awarded our first flag for waste in 2006 and our second green flag for energy in 2008.We have gained 3 more flags in recent years .

We are currently working towards our sixth green flag for our work on the theme:  Global Citizenship – Litter and waste.
