At Scoil Chaoimhín Naofa we pride ourselves on the range and diversity of activities get to participate in at each stage of their primary education.  Below is a list of some these activities; please follow the link in the drop down menu to view some in more detail.


  • Music Generation
  • Weekly classes with Dr. Eamon Sweeney Junior Infants to Rang 2
  • Guitar Lessons with Redmond O Toole
  • Piano with Anthony Norton
  • Tin whistle R5 and R6 with Múinteoir Marian
  • School Choir to include involvement in the National Children’s Choir with Múinteoir Rosemary and Múinteoir Siobhán.
  • Dance Classes for all Classes with Kate O’Connor Dance Teacher.
  • Regular performances for parents at Christmas and end of year.


  • Cycling Safety – 6 Week Course Senior Classes Spring 2014
  • Gaelic football and rugby coaches visit the school each week- First to Sixth Classes
  • Swimming sessions in the Summer Term in Arklow Swimming Pool 3rd & 4th Classes
  • Gymnastics with Les Culliton for 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th Classes
  • Basketball Lessons with coach/parent, Annette Scott
  • Participation in ground hurling and football competitions for Senior Classes
  • Participated in Cumann na mBunScol mini 7’s and FAI soccer
  • Participated in Cumann na mBunScol Greystones Sports Day


  • Kevin’s Pilgrim Walk – 5th & 6th Classes
  • Participation during the year in Do This in Memory and You Shall be my Witness
  • Catholic School’s Week and Grandparents Day
